The foundation of MattMiller's success is their ground breaking INHIBIT product, which does just that — when used over time, it stops hair growth on any part of the body it is applied. INHIBIT is the only hair inhibiting formula patented worldwide and is available for sale in Australia, New Zealand, the United States, Europe, the Middle East and Asia.
How did the company come about? Like many ground-breaking inventions, by accident. Mathew Miller, the founder, invented the INHIBIT formula in 1998 while he was studying for his PhD in Analytical Chemistry. Part of his study was to investigate how to remove heavy metals from contaminated soil using plants (phytorediation). When after about a month or so, his wife noticed that he no longer had hair on his lower arms or hands, he set about trying to find out why this could be happening. He discovered that certain purified plant extracts naturally removed the nutrients from the hair follicle, so in theory, mimicking male pattern baldness. Miller tested, and then patented the concept worldwide.
Miller now spends his time developing new product formulas based on his knowledge of natural plant properties and how they interact with hair and skin. 2013 will see the results of Miller's efforts through the release of a range of truly innovative hair and skin care products. MattMiller has recently developed an all-natural hair re-growth serum (effectively reversing the INHIBIT formula), and an all-natural skin whitening formula (for reducing sun spots, liver spots and birthmarks) among other products.
